Chairs, armchairs and sofas
Among the furnishing components, "seats" are of great importance. Silent witnesses of the various eras, chairs, armchairs and sofas, increasingly maintain an antique value, sentimental more than anything else.... and why not, also economic. Considering the frequent use made over the many decades of life, their condition may require a "restoration", or a restoration work that returns them usable and rejuvenated to their era. This is our daily work; fabrics, leathers, stitching, springs, nails and other materials to be replaced and assembled, must be sought out and used to recompose their specific history. And, with experience, excellent results can be obtained.
Seats
We have always specialized in traditional workmanship: spring seats with horsehair or rivio padding and feather cushions, finishing with trimmings or studs. This type of workmanship is performed on vintage pieces in order to keep their value and history intact. Modern workmanship is also very important, with the use of elastic straps, rubber of various densities (which are used for seats and backrests), latex, expanded polyurethane, resinated, etc. Great attention is also paid to removable covers for armchairs and sofas, single and double sofa beds.
